Piguanas? Kangaroosters? Chimpanzebras?
Beware! This book is really mixed up.

Leo accidentally bonks into a pole on his way to school. He’s fine, but… as for his animal book, that’s a different story! Discover dozens of handpainted mixed-up animals and follow Leo as he works to set the animal kingdom right again.

Switch-a-ROOster is such a fun and creative book! I found my spirit animal in the Slothstrich. What is yours?
Children have fun figuring out which animals got jumbled together and even more laughs making up their own new combos!
The illustrations are astounding!! Especially when you find out Steve is color blind.
You will definitely want multiple copies of this book, one for yourself and at least one to gift.

On the very first mixed up animal, my 6 year old said “Wait, what???” He loves this book! He loved trying to guess what the background “supporting cast” animals were before cheating and looking in the back of the book. And at the end, when everything was back to normal, he said “or not so much.” So clever! His favorite was definitely the Rhinorillatigelope, but mine has to be the porcupenguin! Thanks for sharing your creativity Emma and Steve!
